…Say His Musical Skills Were Rare Gifts
A group, Creative Industry Group has commiserated with the wife, children, families, fans and well-wishers of Reggae music maestro, Majekodunmi Fasheke, popularly known as Majek Fashek, and fondly called ‘The Rainmaker, who was said to have died last night.
According to a statement signed by the group’s President, Amb. Felix Duke and made available to Independent, the rainmaker’s musical skills were rare gifts.
The statement read; “It is with a deep sense of loss and feeling of nostalgia that we join the rest of the world to mourn the death of our very own ‘Send Down The Rain’ crooner, Majekodunmi Fasheke popularly known as Majek Fashek.”
It added; “The singing sensation of the 80’s fondly called ” The Rainmaker” was also a songwriter and guitarist, a breath of fresh air to anyone who listened. His was indeed a rare gift.”
“Our hearts and condolences stretch out to his family, friends, loved ones and fans, May the grace to bear the loss be multiplied greatly on you all.”
